About Me
I was drawn to couples and family therapy because I fundamentally believe in and have seen the healing power of families. I believe relationships are an essential part of our wellbeing and bring meaning to our lives.
When life presents challenges, sometimes it can feel overwhelming to manage alone. Therapy creates an opportunity for reflection, new understanding, and growth that can lead to positive change. Whether you are feeling stuck dealing with a problem, facing a life transition, or have a challenge in a relationship, I will be a collaborative ally who will help you address what is bothering you.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and provide therapy in my practice to individuals, couples and families. I work with people dealing with a variety of emotional issues, such as stress, relationship and family problems (including, but not limited to, difficulties with children and adolescents, marriage, divorce and managing relationships with family of origin) and emotional concerns like depression and anxiety.
I graduated from Georgetown University and have a M.S. degree in Social Work from Columbia University. I completed a four-year postgraduate training program in couples and family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have also completed the Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
